About the Journal
ISSN 3055-1412
The International Journal of Peace, Religion and Development Studies (IJPRDS) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access international academic journal established under the International Academy for Religion and Peace Studies (IARPS), Berlin, Germany.
IJPRDS serves as a global scholarly platform dedicated to advancing knowledge and fostering dialogue on the interconnected dimensions of peace, religion, sustainable development, business, economics, governance, digital transformation, and the emerging impact of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Revolution on contemporary societies.
The journal recognises that the twenty-first century is characterised by unprecedented technological innovation, global interdependence, environmental challenges, geopolitical uncertainty, and social transformation. Addressing these complex challenges requires interdisciplinary approaches that integrate insights from the humanities, social sciences, business studies, economics, public policy, technology, and religious and ethical traditions.
IJPRDS welcomes original theoretical, empirical, policy-oriented, and comparative research that contributes to a deeper understanding of how peacebuilding, ethical leadership, religious values, economic development, entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation, and AI-driven systems can promote human well-being, social harmony, and sustainable prosperity.
Particular emphasis is placed on exploring the role of religion, spirituality, mindfulness, ethics, and intercultural dialogue in shaping responsible governance, inclusive economic growth, sustainable business practices, technological innovation, and human-centred development. The journal also seeks to advance scholarly debates on the opportunities and challenges created by digitalisation, Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, platform economies, and the future of work in both developed and developing societies.
The journal encourages contributions from scholars, policymakers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, religious practitioners, civil society organisations, development professionals, and technology innovators seeking to bridge academic knowledge and practical solutions to contemporary global challenges.
IJPRDS publishes high-quality research articles, review papers, policy analyses, case studies, conceptual papers, book reviews, and special thematic issues. Through rigorous peer review and open-access dissemination, the journal aims to contribute to the advancement of peace, ethical governance, sustainable development, responsible innovation, and inclusive prosperity worldwide.
