Vol. 1 No. 4 (Special Issue) (2026): Journal Saturation Studies
This special issue of the Journal of Saturation Studies (Vol. 1, No. 4) brings together seven articles examining organizational sustainability and systemic vulnerability across higher education and healthcare. Two contributions explore transformational leadership, perceived organizational justice, and turnover intention among university lecturers in Germany through complementary conceptual and empirical perspectives. Five articles investigate pathways toward health-system saturation and collapse, addressing infrastructure and supply-chain dependencies, economic and financial fragility, trust erosion, and governance weaknesses, alongside the integrative WAVE framework linking external stressors, internal vulnerabilities, and cascading risks. Collectively, these contributions advance understanding of institutional resilience and offer conceptual foundations and proposed early-warning approaches to support timely intervention, informed decision-making, and the preservation of stability, efficiency, and adaptability.
