Editorial Policies

Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Process

The Journal of Creative Perspectives applies a single-blind peer review process. In this model, the identities of reviewers are not disclosed to authors.

All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial office to ensure they fit the journal’s scope and basic quality standards. Submissions that pass this initial screening are sent to at least one independent reviewer with relevant expertise.

Reviewers are asked to evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • Originality and contribution to the field

  • Clarity of objectives and argument

  • Soundness of methodology (where applicable)

  • Quality of writing and presentation

Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Revise and resubmit

  • Reject

The final decision on publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
